Typical example of application

Used for workbenches, under which hand-held power tools like circular saws or routing machines are mounted, a switch-plug combination is mounted on the workbench and the machine is plugged into the connector (Type F, CEE 7/4 plug, CEE 7/7 plug). The machine can then be switched on and off directly on the switch-plug combination, while the machine itself stays in the on-position.
